ToggleHello everyone, I’m Amina Moungari. I was born in France and grew up in Saudi Arabia. I am currently studying International Management at EM Normandie after a bachelor in law. I am passionate about marketing and art.
Can you tell us about your role at the Datategy, and what kind of projects or initiatives you have been working on during your internship?
I am currently undergoing an apprenticeship as a Sales and Marketing Assistant, with a specific focus on the partnership department. My role involves offering our platform to universities and specialized schools in data science and computer science, with the aim of enriching their education and ensuring proficiency in our data science tool.
How has the Datategy teams help you to develop your skills and competencies in the data industry, and what have you learned during your time in the program?
My experience at Datategy has been incredibly enriching. Being surrounded by expert in data science helped me gain further knowledge in the field. The team has been very supportive, ensuring that I’m not just a passive observer but an active contributor to meaningful projects. My colleagues and mentor Jean Marc Briquet have been approachable and readily available to answer my questions, provide guidance, and offer constructive feedback. The collaborative environment at Datategy has improved my communication and teamwork skills, particularly in conveying data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
How has the Datategy Early Careers Program fostered a sense of initiative and team spirit among its participants, and what values do you think are important for success in the data industry
Being given the freedom to take charge in the program has really pushed me to step up and contribute to a team effort. Asking questions and soaking up knowledge from my colleagues has been a key part of my growth. In the world of data, it’s all about bringing initiative, creativity, and problem-solving to the table.
Can you share any challenges or obstacles that you have faced during your internship, and how you have overcome them with the support of Datategy teams?
I collaborated with Jean Baptiste to respond to a call for tenders, tackling the challenge of crafting a formal administrative document. This required detailing the project’s components, forecasting future milestones, and developing a comprehensive project plan. To enhance project management, I created a Gantt chart to visualize and effectively manage the project timeline. This experience marked my first foray into handling such a comprehensive project, showcasing my ability to structure and execute complex tasks.
What advice would you give to other young graduates or students who are interested in applying for the Datategy Early Careers Program, and how can they make the most of this opportunity to develop their skills and launch their careers in the data industry?
